For years, Sarah Durst was my favorite author. It started in fifth grade, when I read her book, "Ice". Then I looked up other books by her, and found "Into the Wild". When I finished that, I was excited to read more by her. When I learned that Sarah had written more about Julie in "Out of the Wild", I pounced on it right away. From School Library Journal. Grade 4–6—Like a television show that loses steam in its second season, Durst's sequel to Into the Wild (Penguin, ) seems less fresh and therefore not as much fun as the original.
